Nephrology Associates is now offering Telehealth visits through the platform Claris Continuum. This is an easy to use HIPAA secure platform. We have been calling and will be calling and screening our patients to see if telehealth is an option that fits your level of comfort with technology. On this page you will find a few resources to ensure your telehealth visit is a success.
There are three options to connect, text message, email, or via the website Claris.me. If you are a user of Apple products prior to your appointment follow the instructions linked here to download the Vidyo App. You will not need to create a username or password.
How your Telehealth visit will unfold:
- Several minutes before your appointment a nurse or medical assistant will call you to connect and share the meeting id with you via the available options.
- You will go to Claris.me and enter the secure meeting id and click Start Video Call.
(If a text is sent you will open text and click on link. ) - If you are asked to grant Claris access to your camera and microphone please allow, this ensures we can see and hear you during the visit.
- The nurse or medical assistant will begin visit. Once the nurse has completed their portion of the visit you will stay on the line while the nurse drops off and then the provider will join the meeting.
- End visit.
